Stride: Project Management Software

A web app for teams to plan and run their work: projects and tasks on boards, lists, calendars and timelines, team chat with public and private channels, time tracking, and a shared list of clients and contacts. AI helpers take care of the busywork.
Press Try it now on the sign-in page to open an example workspace without signing up. It resets every night.

Who Stride is for

Stride is project management software for teams that want planning, conversation and time in one place. Every member has one role per workspace, and the controls they see match what they are allowed to do.

Admins

Everything in the workspace: settings and plan, the audit log, inviting anyone and changing roles, deactivating members, creating, archiving and deleting spaces and projects, custom fields, contacts and everyone’s time.

Managers

Invite members, create and archive spaces and projects, see every project, edit or delete any task, manage custom fields and contacts, and see and edit other people’s time.

Members

See the projects they belong to, create tasks and delete their own, move and edit tasks where they are an editor or owner, view contacts, log their own time and create chat channels.
One account can belong to several workspaces and switch between them from the top of the sidebar. Workspaces never see each other’s data.

What Stride does

Spaces group related projects; projects hold tasks with their own statuses, members and custom fields.

Four views of every project

A board with one column per status and drag-and-drop cards, a sortable list, a calendar by due date, and a timeline that shows each task as a bar from start date to due date.

Tasks with real detail

Status, priority from low to urgent, assignees, start and due dates, an estimate, subtasks and the project’s own custom fields: text, number, date, dropdown, checkbox, URL or people, each optionally required.

Dashboard

Counts of projects, tasks and members, a Needs attention list of at-risk work across your projects, and your recent projects, so the first screen tells you where to look.

Team chat

Public channels anyone in the workspace can find and join, and private invite-only channels. New messages appear without reloading, with quick emoji reactions.

Time tracking

Type what you are working on, pick a project and press Start, or log time manually. See today’s entries, today’s and this week’s totals, and this week’s time by project.

Contacts and clients

People you work with, with title, owner, tags and notes, and the organizations they belong to, each with its own page listing its contacts.

Invitations and roles

Invite members by email with a role. Invitations stay valid for 7 days and can be resent or revoked; admins can change roles, deactivate and reactivate members.

Audit log

Admins see who did what and when in the workspace, including every AI request and any request refused for being over the daily allowance.

Platform administration

Platform admins manage every account across all workspaces: create users, reset passwords, lock accounts, sign people out everywhere and log in as a user, with every action recorded.

AI that does the busywork

Each AI helper drafts or explains; a person always decides. All AI runs on Stride’s servers, nothing goes from the browser to an AI provider, and every request is recorded in the workspace audit log.

Create tasks in plain English

Type “Remind Sara to send the invoice Friday, high priority” and press Draft task. Stride fills in the title, matches Sara against the project’s members, sets the coming Friday in your time zone, the priority and the status. Nothing is created until you press Create task.

Break into subtasks

On any task, AI proposes 3 to 8 concrete steps, each with an estimate. Untick the ones you do not want and add the rest; they start in the project’s first to-do status.

Weekly status report

A short AI-written summary of the last 7 days, followed by lists of tasks done, in progress, blocked, overdue and due next week that come straight from the tasks. Copy it, or post it to a chat channel.

At-risk flags

Fixed rules, not AI, flag a project when overdue tasks are rising or one person holds half the open work, and flag tasks stuck in progress for 7 days or in to-do while due soon. AI only writes the one-sentence explanation.

Ask Stride

Ask “What’s overdue in Engineering?” or “What is Priya working on?” It is read-only, it only sees the projects you can open, and every task in an answer links to the task.

Daily allowances

Each person gets 50 plain-English tasks, 20 subtask breakdowns, 10 status reports and 50 Ask Stride questions a day, reset at midnight UTC and enforced on the server.

How Stride is built

The decisions that keep a shared workspace fast, private and predictable.

Multi-tenant workspaces

Everything belongs to a workspace, each with its own URL slug, and workspaces never see each other’s data. One account can be a member of several.

Role-aware interface

Management controls such as New Space and + Project only appear for people allowed to use them, and the same roles decide what Ask Stride can read.

Live chat without reloading

Messages and reactions arrive on their own, and private channel invitations appear at the top of the channel list and in notifications.

Rules first, AI second

At-risk detection is a set of fixed, explainable rules. AI is used only where language helps: drafting tasks, breaking work down, summarizing and explaining.

Strong sign-in

Email and password or Google. Passwords need 12 or more characters with mixed case, a number and a symbol; common words and your own email name are refused, and a password reset signs you out everywhere else.

Everything on the record

A workspace audit log for admins and a separate platform audit log for staff actions, including log-in-as sessions, account locks and password resets.

Build something like this

Stride shows how Lycore builds collaborative SaaS: multi-tenant from the start, roles that shape the interface, and AI that drafts while people decide. Planning an internal tool, a workspace product or a vertical SaaS? Let’s talk about what yours needs.
