LyTrade: Prop Firm Software
The software a prop firm runs on. A trader app where traders buy an evaluation challenge, trade a simulated account and watch every rule tracked live, and an operator console where the firm’s staff configure plans, monitor breaches, review payouts and see firm-wide risk.
Open it as a trader or as an operator without signing in. Trading and payouts are simulated and checkout uses sandbox payments, so no real money moves.
Who LyTrade is for
LyTrade is prop firm software with two sides: the firm’s own team, and the traders who buy its challenges. Each role sees exactly what it needs and nothing it should not.
Operator admins
Full console access: create and edit challenge plans and every rule, choose the market data source, make payout decisions and take manual account actions such as resetting an account or extending a phase. They cannot trade a trader’s account.
Risk analysts
Read the whole console, review breaches as they happen, add staff notes and request AI payout reviews. They cannot change plans or decide payouts, which keeps those decisions with admins.
Read-only viewers
Browse every console page, from traders and breaches to payouts and the audit log, without being able to change anything. Useful for finance, compliance or partners who need visibility.
Traders and funded traders
Buy a challenge, trade their own simulated accounts, follow the rules dashboard and the AI coach, move through the phases and request payouts once funded. They never see other traders.
What LyTrade does
One challenge, from purchase to payout, with a server-side rules engine enforcing every limit along the way.
Challenge plans
Each plan sets an account size, a price, one or two evaluation phases and a full rule set. The example firm sells Starter 25K ($155), Standard 50K ($295), Pro 100K ($495) and a one-step Rapid 10K ($99).
Configurable rules
Defaults the operator can change per plan: Phase 1 profit target 8%, Phase 2 target 5%, max daily loss 5%, max overall drawdown 10% (static or trailing), at least 4 trading days per phase, a max lot size and an 80% profit split.
Rules snapshot per account
Every account stores a copy of the rules it was bought with. When an operator changes a plan, only new purchases get the new rules, so nobody’s challenge changes under them.
The trading screen
EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, XAUUSD, US30 and NAS100 with live bid and ask, candlestick charts from 1 minute to 1 day, market, limit and stop orders with stop loss and take profit, partial close, and a risk calculator that turns a risk amount and stop distance into a lot size.
Live rules dashboard
The trader’s home page shows every rule as a value, a limit and a progress bar, such as daily loss used against the amount allowed, with balance, equity, today’s P&L and a countdown to the next daily reset.
Automatic breach enforcement
Rules are evaluated on every price tick and every fill. A hard breach closes all positions, cancels pending orders, fails the account and records the rule, the values, the time and the trades involved, whether or not the app is open.
Phases, funding and history
Passing a phase opens the next one automatically; passing the last makes the account funded (simulated). History shows equity curves, daily P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, max consecutive losses and holding times.
Payouts
Funded traders request a payout of profit above the starting balance, split by the plan’s profit share. Requests move through Requested, Under review, Approved and Paid, or are rejected with a reason. No bank details are collected.
Operator console
A firm dashboard with pass rate per phase, challenge revenue, payout liability, open exposure by instrument and accounts near breach, plus trader search, a live breach feed, the payout queue, plan editing, market settings and a full audit log.
AI that coaches risk, not trades
AI acts as a risk and behavior coach for traders and a risk analyst for operators. It never gives trade signals, price predictions or buy and sell suggestions.
Risk coach
Warnings are computed by deterministic rules on the server, such as reaching 76% of the daily loss limit, a larger trade right after a loss, or a burst of trades after losses. AI only phrases them and connects them to the trader’s own history, and every number is checked against the engine.
Journal, daily summary and weekly report
Closed trades are tagged by session, holding time and behavior patterns, and a trader’s note becomes a structured journal entry. Summaries cover what happened, habits such as holding losers longer than winners, rule usage and two or three concrete process improvements.
Guardrails that hold
Ask the coach “Should I buy gold now?” and the answer is the same every time: it cannot give trade ideas or market views, and it offers to review the trader’s own risk instead. Every response is checked for advice-like content before it is shown, and flagged responses are replaced and logged.
AI risk analyst for operators
Operators ask questions over the firm’s data in plain English, such as which funded traders had a drawdown over 6% this week, or whether many traders are taking the same direction at the same time. Answers come only from read-only queries and link to the records behind them.
Payout review assist
For each payout request, AI summarizes the account’s trading and flags rule-relevant concerns, such as one day making up most of the profit or possible hedging between accounts. A person makes the decision.
Daily caps on the server
Per-user limits are enforced on the server: 30 journal entries from notes, 100 coach messages, 2 on-demand weekly reports and 50 analyst questions a day. AI provider keys never leave the server.
How LyTrade is built
The engineering choices behind prop firm software where the rules have to hold every time.
One Flutter codebase
The web app is the main version and works best on a desktop browser. Android and iOS builds share the same code, with light and dark mode (dark by default).
The engine is the source of truth
Orders are filled, P&L is computed and rules are evaluated in a server-side simulation. The app only sends requests and shows results; it never calculates anything that affects a rule.
Money in whole cents
All amounts are in US dollars and stored as whole cents, never as floating-point numbers, so balances, limits and payouts never drift by a rounding error.
A trading day that survives DST
The day ends at 5:00 PM New York time, a common FX boundary. The daily loss limit restarts from that point, and the change is correct across daylight saving time.
Nothing lost on a restart
Open positions and day-start balances are stored, so the engine keeps enforcing the rules correctly if it restarts, and every breach is recorded with the trades involved.
Replay or live data
Prices come from a live feed or from market replay of recorded candles played back in real time, always labeled as replayed. Operators switch between them without code changes.
Roles and keys
Traders see only their own accounts; admins, risk analysts and viewers see their firm’s data at their own level. AI and market data keys stay on the server and are never part of the app.
Audit log
Every operator action, rule change, breach, payout decision and AI request is recorded with who and when, including manual resets and phase extensions.
Sandbox checkout
Challenge purchases go through sandbox payments, and a simulation notice is shown on every trader screen and at checkout.

Build something like this
LyTrade shows how Lycore builds fintech software where the rules have to hold: a server-side engine as the single source of truth, money stored in cents, and AI with firm limits on what it will say.
