iOS App Development Services
Native iPhone and iPad apps built in Swift and SwiftUI. Production-ready, App Store approved, and fully yours from day one.
Why Native iOS Development Still Matters
With cross-platform frameworks improving every year, native iOS development is a deliberate choice, not a default. We recommend it when your product demands the full depth of the Apple platform — deep hardware integration, complex animations, ARKit, HealthKit, CarPlay, or a UI that needs to feel indistinguishable from Apple’s own apps.
Lycore builds iOS apps exclusively in Swift and SwiftUI. We do not maintain Objective-C codebases or use hybrid approaches on native iOS projects. If Flutter or React Native is the right choice for your product, we will tell you — and we build those too.
Every iOS app we deliver goes through full App Store submission including review guideline compliance, App Store Connect configuration, TestFlight distribution, and resubmission support if Apple pushes back.

What We Build on iOS
From consumer apps to enterprise tools, we cover the full range of iOS application types.
Consumer iPhone Apps
User-facing apps built for the App Store targeting iPhone users. We design for engagement, retention, and real-world usage patterns that drive reviews, repeat opens, and organic growth.
iPad and Universal Apps
Apps designed for iPad or as universal binaries covering both iPhone and iPad. SwiftUI makes truly adaptive layouts achievable — a single codebase that feels purpose-built on each device size.
Enterprise iOS Tools
Internal tools distributed via MDM or Apple Business Manager. Field service apps, inspection tools, and internal dashboards that integrate with your existing backend systems and authentication infrastructure.
HealthKit and Fitness Apps
Apps that integrate with Apple Health, HealthKit, and wearable sensors. We build HIPAA-aware health products with appropriate data handling, secure storage, and privacy-first architecture.
Fintech and Payments
Payment flows, wallets, and financial interfaces built with Apple Pay, StoreKit, and Plaid integration. Security-first architecture with biometric authentication, encrypted local storage, and session management.
AR and Camera Apps
Augmented reality experiences using ARKit and RealityKit, and camera-intensive apps using AVFoundation. These are categories where native iOS has a clear performance advantage over cross-platform alternatives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers about iOS development from engineers who build with it daily.
How much does iOS app development cost?
A focused single-platform iPhone app with core features typically starts around USD 12,000. A full-featured iPhone and iPad app with backend API, authentication, push notifications, payment integration, and admin dashboard typically falls between USD 25,000 and USD 50,000. We quote a fixed price after a scoping session, so there are no surprises during the project.
How long does it take to build an iOS app?
A focused MVP for iPhone typically takes 8 to 12 weeks from signed contract to App Store submission. A full-featured app with complex backend logic, third-party integrations, and custom UI typically takes 14 to 22 weeks. Apple’s review process adds 1 to 5 days after submission. We manage that process and handle any reviewer feedback until your app is live.
Do you build for iPhone only or iPad as well?
We build for iPhone only, iPad only, or as universal apps that run on both. Most consumer apps start as iPhone-only and add iPad support later. Enterprise and productivity apps often require iPad from day one. SwiftUI makes it practical to support both form factors from a single codebase without building entirely separate layouts, so the cost difference between iPhone-only and universal is usually smaller than people expect.
Should I build iOS native or use Flutter or React Native?
If you need to launch on both iOS and Android simultaneously and your app does not require deep native iOS integration, Flutter or React Native is almost always the better choice on cost and speed. We recommend native iOS when your app requires ARKit, deep HealthKit integration, CarPlay, complex camera processing, or needs to match Apple’s own UI patterns exactly. We are honest about this — we build both, so we have no incentive to push you toward the more expensive option.
Who owns the code and App Store account after the project?
You own everything. All Swift source code, Xcode projects, design files, and your Apple Developer account are yours. We operate within your App Store Connect account, not our own. This is standard in our contract before any work begins. We retain zero rights to anything built during the engagement.
